Its always the same every where on earth. Politics promise miracles before election and after they won they do nothing.

I'm pretty sure Barack Obama plans to do most of everything he spoke of doing during his campaign. Whether or not it happens depends on more than just him. While listening to him speak I believe that what he speaks of are honestly his dreams and visions for a future America.

On a side note, I believe the same John McCain. I think both the major party nominees this time around spoke from the heart on what they believe is best for our country.

If nothing else, I'll tell you what Obama will do and in part has already done. Our president elect has gotten more Americans involved in the political process than ever before. He will do all he can to keep Americans aware of the fact that this is our government, this is our country, and we as a whole are responsible for the path we choose.

Um I would just like to point out that Obama has already made statements leaningtwords the fact that he won't be following through with some of the campain promises he made.

BTW only the 52% that voted for him are responsible for the path America choose.

As one of those that didn't I am waiting for the time I can say to the people that voted for him you were warned who knows if were lucky it won't happen but don't bet on it.

As far as Obama's campaign promises, are you saying he was lying? That's cool if you are. But, I just don't see it that way. I believe he would like to do everything he's spoken about. The reasons a man changes his mind are many. Perhaps the situation has changed. Our economy has taken a pretty hard blow recently.

When I said that we as a country control the road we take I was speaking beyond a single vote. Sure, the president is the most powerful man in our democracy. Yet, this does not take away your power as an citizen/individual.

You may one day have a bigger effect on this nation than all who have come before you, if you so desire.

Well Obama is a proven Lier even though he phrases it in such a way as to make it seam he isn't a lie is a lie take for example his promise on takeing public finance.

And already he has stated that he will be unable to do some of the things he promised during his campain, while blameing bush for his inability to go through with his promise.

I see. Seems like you don't like the guy very much. You should try not to make these things personal. No man is perfect, debates on such is meaningless.

Perhaps you should help change things to shape the country the way you see fit. You could use a gundam, a death note, geass... maybe you should capture all the jinchuriki and harvest their powers for your ideals. Or if things get too out of hand over the next four years you could use your galat gun to put an end to this puny planet.

The whole public financing private financing thing is kinda silly dont ya think? Just not that serious.

But I'm pretty sure McCain said something about changing some of his initial plans. The bottom line is that if you look at where we are now and where we were when the election began, and still can't see why these guys would have to alter their plans for the country you simply aren't looking hard enough.
